Journal- Carefree

Cover his face. Bless one so that his future shall not be rerecorded by memory. His sorrows sweeping over him as if he is battling the same nightmare. To acknowledge a nightmare as a dream that has configured into reality is key. The awarded hero is the one who accepts good with the bad. There is no two sides, but rather one. He slips away wondering how he can save himself…how can he accept the good and bad within him? Suddenly, making peace among everyone else seemed too easy. The heart on his wrist to protest and protect against evil action seemed dreamy. The world, so vast and so chaotic, was a trail to take on, and yet he’s focused on how to change himself. “Man in the Mirror”. He remembered his best friends telling him “YOU come first. You come first”. But he could not fathom a life without her sweet decent. The relationship they grew self-destructed and blew thousands of miles away. So he sits there, confused. Temporary happiness underlining a smile that pushes it all away. Synthetic peace that comes only when it pleases, leaving him to sit in the dust. Alone. Lonely. Wishing he was carefree.
